2020 really put life into perspective and challenged me to think outside the box. The first two months started with opening up for Nicky Romero and releasing an original song for Valentine’s Day, then Covid hit. I had to think about new ways to engage with my audience and build my brand through the virtual world. I decided to host a 3-day philanthropic virtual music festival (Tropix Like Its Hot: Summer Jam) featuring over 40 virtual artists, 15 music interviews, and 30 hours of raising money for Covid relief & The Makin’ Lemonade Foundation. I then began to build my TikTok, growing quickly to 150k, releasing 3 new songs, and starting the infamous Tropix Inflatable Pool.
