This culture flourished until the late 1200's when the Pueblo people migrated out of the area. These people did not disappear. They live on as the Hopi, Zuni and Rio Grande Pueblo people of Arizona and New Mexico. Many other tribes have ancestral affiliation to Cedar Mesa.
