Suggestions

The *Suggestions* set from *Detremura* series was commissioned for the exhibition *Non-Fungible Castle 2022: Preserving Culture On The Blockchain*, curated by Jake Al-Haffar at the Lobkowicz Palace in Prague, Czech Republic, from October 27 to November 13, 2022. The set features nine 10-minute videos showing the never-ending content recommendation feed from Instagram’s “search” tab across cities located in different macro-regions of the world. For each one of the cities the artist created a blank account and made screencaptures while accessing the platform with geo-spoofed locations and IP redirects.
