Saemal village

재개발로 사라질 새말. 모든 것이 빠르게 변하는 가운데서도, 그대로 일 것만 같던 곳입니다. 한국전쟁이후 형성된 마을. 새로운 마을이라는 뜻의 동네이름 새말. 시간이 멈춘 것 같던 그 곳도 변화의 흐름에 따라 아파트 촌으로 바뀝니다. 누군가에겐 여전히 삶의 터전이고, 누군가에겐 추억이고, 누군가에게는 옛기억을 생각나게 하는 그 곳을 다큐멘터리 형식의 사진으로 남겼습니다. 사라지면 잊혀지겠지만, 기록하고 기억하면 여전히 우리 곁에 남아 있을테니까요. 함께해주셔서 감사합니다. Saemal that will disappear due to redevelopment. The name Saemal means a new village. But there is old village now, the place will be turned into an apartment. I wanted to remember the village. So I took pictures in the form of a documentary. If it disappears, it will be forgotten, but if you record it and remember it, it will always remain with us. Thank you.
