CARDELUCCI is a progressive body of photography capturing striking moments through shadow and light. Beginning in 2021 , coinciding with her discovery of the blockchain, each “Plate” is an original work of art recorded on the Ethereum blockchain on a 2021 Manifold custom smart contract. She chose this old photography term, used for glass plate negatives, to denote her original works of art on her contract. It's a nod to the history of photography as well as the phenomenon seen in Crypto Art where many generative art collections are numbered.
