Gabriel has created his first collection for NIFTY using his iconic "FADO" character to pay tribute to Warhol and Basquiats infamous boxing poses, based on the iconic photo shoot used for poster images to promote their historic duo show in New York City in 1985. Gabriel Gimenez (aka GG) has been a pioneer of the Miami art scene for the last 8 yrs, recently winning an Emmy for a documentary he produced highlighting Miami's emerging artistic identity.
