“sometimes our most deepest conversations are with ourselves.” *pillow-talk* (2022) is a collection of abstract works that play on the idea of an intimate conversation. With the exception being it is with oneself. The works offer a colorful and messy interpretation of lines pulled from my personal journals, where my most deep conversations start. The journals act as markers in my life as I cope with past traumas, anxiety, waves of depression, the happiest moments, young adulthood to name a few. As a result, the words are littered in subtle imagery that looks at first to be out of place, and out of character.
