"Below-Ocean" is a collection of 20 images spanning over 5 years as I explore the beauty of the underwater world. On a single breath dive I slip below the ocean surface. With a camera in hand I follow lightpaths, diving down into cold free flowing waters. A handheld torch accompanies me, illuminating instances that captivate and connect. Natural light cuts through the water and sunlight reflects through the surface, bouncing off skin, scales and fur. Bubbles move as the body that exhaled them disappears into the depths.
