Series of colorist experiments on my iPad that primarily deal with Drug Addiction and the many feelings that it has caused throughout being an addict - relapsing many times over 6 years - and the pain + enlightenment I have gained through sobriety. I like to think of myself as a contemporary version of a young Jack Pollock, but if he got sober* -- I began using in 2016 and got clean on 1/11/2021. I am 23 years old and currently reside in Irvine, CA, with my grandma. I do not draw on physical paper, as I believe I am not precise enough, but recently, I found the iPad drawing app 'sketchbook' and since about a week ago I have been executing experiment after experiment.
