"Drop Photography" experiments consist of photographing an abstract state of liquid. The electronic flash inventor, electrical engineer, and photographer from the U.S., Harold Edgerton's work on stroboscopic flash photography has been the subject of many scientific articles. A bullet piercing an apple and a milk drop dripping into a container in 1940 have succeeded in being one of the first high-speed photographs.
