my brain consumed all the goodness of air and pushed out broken breaths. my jaw continued to clench around a focusing lense until emotions began to pixelate. i drank relief, the silence. still i hinder at its convenience. offshore my knuckles bend relentlessly for a moment. to me, moments feel like hours. and these moods feel like days in another avalanching body.
