The Mountain Gorillas

In 2016, I was working as an international music photographer when I received an invite from the artist that I was working with to travel to Rwanda and photograph mountain gorillas. After giving some thought to the idea, I decided to take the opportunity and two weeks later I found myself on top of the Virunga Mountains. Finding the gorillas was the most difficult part of the trip; long hours trekking through the jungle was required to reach the gorilla groups.
