Gaucho Lands

Photographs from a summer spent on a remote 100,000 acre ranch in Northern Patagonia, Argentina. Located in the foothills of the Andes this ranch supports many traditional nomadic farmers who live in remote Puestos tending to their goats, cattle and taking care of the land. These Guachos are skilled horsemen, subject to may legends and can be as unruly as they are kind. Bruised, cut up and spat out a little wiser, this collection shows a life slowed right down. Life from an off-grid, communal ranch. This collection features a mixture images published in National Geographic and some from my personal gallery.
