Sarcomeres

The Sarcomere. The fundamental unit of contraction of muscle tissue. So simple, and we take them for granted. I grew up with a family member who lives with a form of muscular dystrophy; yet, I still cannot fully comprehend the effects of muscular dysfunction on quality of life. As a physiotherapist, I do my best to help my patients move better. As an avid NFT collector, I now want to help a cause that has already helped so many people.
