Like Marcel Duchamp did with the Fountain, taking a ready made object into a new context, so is crypto art doing now: taking artwork into new and more abstract contexts. I consider tokenising to be the most contextual format for saving a thought. To convert a piece into ones and zeros, and save it in the blockchain is as close as an artist can get to sharing the original idea and delivering it as a platform to be worked upon. It is then up to the consumer to contextualise and reproduce the work to his liking, and further build upon the original idea.
