Souls of Bilbao by Jonathan Murillo

This collection is an ode to my city Bilbao and an exploration of geometry within photography. Geometry has been linked to art from the beginning of history, whether it was in painting, sculpture, or music to name some examples. Kandinsky is one of the best examples that put all this together, creating paintings that were a visualization of music, colors, and geometric forms. The name of the collection “Souls of Bilbao” makes reference to two aspects. First is to the individuals, wandering souls of the city, that cannot be recognized and become just another element of the composition.
