The Olojo Festival is an ancient festival celebrated annually in Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. This festival is one of the popular festival in the Yoruba land. During Olojo Festival the King goes into seclusion for 7days and what he does during the seclusion period is intercede for all the Descendants of Oduduwa and our nation Nigeria. After the seclusion he then comes out to carry the Ancestral Crown known as a “Ade Aare” which is a major highlight during the festival, as the crown is on the Ooni’s head he walks through the town and blesses all Oduduwa Descendant both home and Abroad.
