Land of Beautiful Horses

The wild and freedom-loving Yılkı horses, which live in Hörmetçi Reeds on the outskirts of Erciyes and eastern gate of the Cappadocia region, create unique images while galloping on the snow. Cappadocia, as it is known now, is Persian for "Land of Beautiful Horses." These wild horses create a nice contrast with their dark colors on the white snow, especially in winter. The reflection of the snow falling off their feet while galloping quickly creates a visual feast. Photographers come from many countries of the world to photograph Yılkı horses, which create different beauties in every season.
