Padaung women

When we visited Myanmar in 2016, I met this ethnic tribe living in the north of Myanmar. These are long-necked women from the Padaung tribe. In fact, we always know that necks are long, but this length is due to the large rings made of brass deforming their chest and shoulders and making their necks appear longer. It was an exciting study for me on my trip to Myanmar, where I was curious and tried to understand the stories that really interested me. Artist- Ozlem Buyukevren, photographer from Turkey.
