Born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1960, Laura Quiroz has developed her watercolor technique through workshops in several countries where she has resided, prior to live in Bolivia. Among the workshops stand out those held with renowned watercolorists, Rose Edin, Astrid Carlson, and Ulises Daniel Rivera. She has exhibited at the international level participating in biennials in Mexico, in the National Museum of Watercolor "ALFREDO GUATI ROJO"; in Spain, in the LA CASA DE LA MONEDA and at Santa Martha, Colombia, in the EL MUSEO BOLIVIARIANO DE ARTE CONTEMPORANEO.
