Metaseries

Every structural phenomenon has a history, and the structure cannot be understood without understanding its genesis. (Jacques Derrida, 1959). The Metaseries are 3D audiovisual compositions describing the architectural landscape of a hypotethical metaverse. Some works in the collection focus on the method of composition: the “history” behind a specific “structural phenomenon”, a partially generative recombination process of geometric and sonic archetypes. This project takes inspiration from the architecture of the blockchain, a decentralized network made up of chains of single blocks.
