JATC - Just Around The Corner - My Search for Beauty and Atmosphere in Local Woodlands

An ethereal collection of woodland images I took in my first year of woodland photography after a long time-out of more than 10 years. Woodlands incorporate everything that gives me joy in photography. Searching for compositions in the forest, has a very calming effect to me and it’s almost like a riddle or puzzle finding shapes, textures and compositions in this beautiful chaos. As a huge fan of fantasy and Sci-Fi films, its the ideal playground to realise my visions I developed while watching Star Wars, LOTR, The Alien Trilogy and Prometheus to name a few.
