UrbanPlayground

UrbanPlayground is an introductory collection of 100 images i’ve captured urban exploring in the United States. The journey began in Detroit over the summer of 2015, riding bikes and shooting photos surrounded by abandoned, dilapidated structures I quickly grew attached to. Pedaling aimlessly around the city revolved to crawling into abandoned structures by the spur of the moment. I began to realize my explorations were the most therapeutic, healing encounters of my life. As my appreciation for these less accessible places grew out of my control, I found myself packing up, traveling city to city exploring these “urban playgrounds” until the day I was forced to take a break.
