AeroSouls

An example of 7thPencil's obsession with recycling the cans from the huge artworks she paints on streets. These are made from real spray cans crushed and depressurized by hand with a hammer and nail. The paint released from this process is used to colour the recycled hand cut cardboard. These are and animated versions of large street art installations of the individual AeroSouls. Fascinated with the spray cans left over from huge artworks she makes physical and digital explorations using these usually discarded crushed items as symbols. Representing freedom and liberation of someone oppressed, stereotyped and discarded. Hiss release, Soul releases, Solace, Release, Aero soul.
