"Stain" by Emre Cakmak

I imagine humans as a “Stain” on the canvas of life full of thousands of colours. Tar drips from our trotters; ink smudges have covered our hands. We are abnormal sihouettes among the geometry around us, almost like a divine mistake in the middle of this bright merriment; here, there, everywhere. "Stain" consists of 5 photos, two of which are self portraits, glued together by form and emotion. Light, colour and geometry are the main elements in all compositions with the human silhouette being the stain. Taken between 2019 & 2020, it is a contemporary take on Street Photography and my subjective and emotional interpretation of the streets and this world. Emre
