InSync - Narsimlu

Narsimlu’s men and women in their geometric configurations may be reminiscent of animation like figures, but in reality they are depictions of rural men and women in Telangana where he hails from. He says, he draws inspiration from village life in India, and his women have all the paraphernalia of jewelry and saris, while the men wear the traditional lungis and carry umbrellas to shield themselves from the harsh Indian sun. His works seem to use the whole palette of colors, and this he says is inspired by Indian gods whose faces are often in various colors like blue and yellow.
