"Elements I" is Nathan Beer's (beercandid) first official collection of works available in the fine art space. These images were captured over the course of 5 years, representing the evolution of Nathan's practice between 2014 and 2019. Throughout his time as an artist, Nathan has always experimented with the cameras and film stock he's built and used. He approaches his work with no steadfast intention other than to be free to let his eye, camera, and film work in tandem. True collaboration with the mechanical apparatus he has come to know and love so dearly. These nine abstractions speak the loudest as children born at the intersection of organic and mechanic.
