The HatMan

"The HatMan" An Ongoing Obsession!  This is a series that consciously I started 5 years ago, but a man with a hat has been always in my unconscious since I was a kid, when my father was telling me the stories of my grandfather, how he used to wear a black suit and a black hat as he walked purposefully through the streets of Kabul. It is also inspired by a sense of nostalgia, caused by watching films of a bygone era. In this series, I give the character to the hat instead of the person, and this action challenges the audience's mind to fluidly seek for discovering the face and inner personality of the person in the photos.
