Heavenly Paradise

This was the first piece that brought me into the world of media art, and when I googled it, it was posted on the front page of google. Since then, I have been known in Korea as an artist who maps projections on ceramics, and for 10 years as a media artist, I have been invited to exhibits that promote the beauty of Korea and East Asia, such as NewYork, Washington D.C, Florida, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai and Osaka. This work is projection mapping installation on the celadon Bunchungsagi. Bunchungsagi (a grayish-blue-powdered celadon) is the Korean traditional porcelain which was covered on the surface wetted a grayish blue powder to hide the lower quality of surface of the porcelain in 15C. ...View all
