Exploration of Light

Exploration of Light is an ongoing collection of digital Black & White photography inspired by my early years in photography. My love of Black & White photography comes from my late teens, when studying photography at college I was only able to develop in Black & White. I soon realised the beauty in this, the ability to focus purely on shape, texture and light without the distraction of colour. Even though I currently shoot digital, my editing technique is as similar to that of darkroom processing and I try to create the aesthetic of film photography in my final pieces.
