Densetsu

Of all the world’s myths and fairy tales, there are cats playing a part of the stories. Cats represent wealth, love and luck. And at the same time, they signify spiritual worlds, unfortunate events, and even death. “Densetsu” (legends, myths) is a story of cats in the mythical world portrayed through the backdrop of Japanese landscape, a land full of cats’ tales, namely Nekomata (the forked cat) or ‘Maneki-Neko’, known as ‘the beckoning cat’.
