Galaxies Within

In 2008, working in India, I developed a technique I now call Durational Painting. I make paintings in ice, and film them disintegrating. As the sun's heat melts them, I document the temperature and climate conditions of that day, time, year. The artwork is a measurement and record of that moment. They have been shown in museums and galleries, and now are available to be collected. Since the actual painted object is destroyed in the process of making the work, the NFT is the surviving artifact in a format that is collectible and unique. This was/is an actual painting.
