Time Trails

Time Trails is a unique collection made up of 20 star trail images shot on different dark sky locations. Over 200 individual frames were shot and stacked for each piece, which show approximately two hours of celestial rotation. When combined in a single image, all the frames reveal the trails left by the stars passing overhead as the Earth slowly rotates. When confronted with the immense vastness of the night sky, the universe often seems inmutable and eternal, but star trails are a constant reminder that time marches on and that we are just a speck spinning through space and time.
