The Cosmic Archive

This limited collection of 15 pieces contains images of celestial bodies that were photographed from the remote parts of Canada over several years. Constant urban development threatens dark skies as cities expand, so dark sky preserves keep the natural beauty of what humans have observed for thousands of years. Canada has one of the best dark skies in the world due to its large landmass, with areas so remote that there is no sign of light pollution in the night sky. Countless sleepless nights have been spent driving to these remote dark sky preservers, staying up with my telescope and star tracker observing the cosmos.
