Muriwai Tempest

To say it was trying conditions to get this shot would be a bit of an understatement. The on shore breeze was full on, so I had to limit my exposure time to a more manageable <5secs (this particular shot is 3secs) so as to reduce the risk of camera shake resulting in a blurry mess. The incoming tide, wind and sea conditions meant there was a lot of sea foam, so I had to be patient enough to wait for the right wave, bringing with it no sea foam for cleaner LE sea lines in the shot.
