"BOOM! The Legends of Mt. St. Helens"

"BOOM! The Legends of Mt. St. Helens" started as traditional art pieces built from found materials, studio scraps, while incorporating idea of endurance and permanence in the midst of dramatic change. Like when Mt. St. Helens blew its top, it will never return to the way it was. My pieces are created under a sense of urgency and have developed practical utility. Like turning into a table, a banner, or a totem. They became functional. And all pieces in the real world are embedded with ash from the Mt. St. Helens eruption. I am continuing this motive as I translate and perpetuate these themes with my NFT project.
