Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see in the world.” True change starts with the Self; with the person in the mirror. How can we expect others to hold themselves to ethical and moral standards if we don’t begin with ourselves? We are all always changing and evolving, and we have the ability to affect and direct some of that change. We can take responsibility for ourselves in every moment, and every situation. So much of the world is out of our individual control.
