Potemaro

Potemaro is a strange mascot that looks like a chubby cat, I hope they will bring happiness to their owners. There are 22 Potemaros in total; the number 22 is used in Japan for the cat's purr, "nyan nyan"😺 This mascot was inspired by the shape of the Japanese folk craft Inuhariko (papier-mache dogs). The original form of Inuhariko was the komainu (guardian dogs) placed at shrines and temples in Japan. ・-・-・-・ ぽてマロは、ぽちゃっとした猫のような不思議なマスコットです。彼らが出会った飼い主さんに幸せを運んでくれるよう願っています。 ぽてマロは全部で22体。22はもちろん「ニャンニャン」から来ています😺 このマスコットは、日本の民芸品「犬張子」の形からヒントを得ました。犬張子の原型は日本の神社やお寺に置かれている狛犬だそうです。
