Ipseity : individual identity or selfhood. Identity, self perception and self awareness are often shaped by societal factors that are out of our control. Our place of birth, our education, our family, our social and economic status, but what happens when we look beyond these? Are we simply products of our environment or does “self” go deeper? Identity may play a big role for a successful future in the web3 space. There are strong arguments on both sides for the need of anonymity and disclosure.
