Cindy Higby has been shooting the streets since her days of being a starving artist in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Pratt Institute of Art in 1983 with a degree in Commercial Art. Her dream of being an illustrator was derailed when she bought her first computer and began learning graphic design. She worked her way up to a creative director in advertising, and retired in 2009 to pursue her love of photography and painting. Currently she's building a large following on Tik Tok as crypto_granny. She got her start in crypto by listing her first NFT on Opensea, and as they say, the rest is "Herstory" .
