Act of Failure

This project questions the definition of photography. The City of Mexico is explored in the need of building a new version of the city’s history to be able to articulate myself in it. Through this process, a historical archive of tiny pieces is created that constitute a platform for the future. What is depicted in this project are images that lack clarity interrupting the flow of information from the object photographed to the photographic support. This is a contradictory act in itself -taking photos in analog system, processing them and then reducing them to a system that is used for biological research.
