Akasha by Ophelia Jacarini

Akasha is made up of nine individuals pieces that together make up a entire composition. Akasha means “all the knowledge in the world”, or can be a comprehensive record of past events that is then imprinted upon us. It is every moment, motion and decision that together make up and exhibit our being. My fascination is to highlight the fleeting significance of our moments in motion, echoing the importance of being present along our journey. With this work I emphasize that each piece has its importance.
