Future Land: Inward Expansion

​Heavily influenced by the Hudson River & Rocky Mountain School's of painting from the early 19th century Future Land: Inward Expansion explores the new frontier of the Metaverse. Manifest Destiny is calling once again. We must continue our journey inward. Inward Expansion is a collection of Generative Adversarial Networks(GAN) created landscape paintings derived from their numerically corresponding Future Land architectural pieces. Each Future Land image is run through the GANs with landscape paintings as reference material. The created works evoke a sense of other-worldliness; of lands yet to be discovered or maybe societies long forgotten.
