Portrait of Monsoon

Portrait of Monsoon is a collection of works by Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew. Uttaporn is an artist who work primarily with his unique method - paint on layers of transparent fabric. This method make two dimensional images appear three dimensional and create the feeling of fleetingness to the work. However, in this collection, the artist used only digital programmes to create a portrait from a collage of photographs and lines. In the time defined by the pandemic, Uttaporn's digitally painted lines capture feeling of uncertainty and impermanence of contemporary lives.
