"Layers of the Western World" is a culmination of the last six years spent in hiking boots, on trail, and in tents- with camera in hand. These 1/1s are the scenes that motivated me to pick up a camera in the first place, when I moved to Washington State in 2015. Mountain layers have long been one of my favorite subjects- within them lies mystery, and grand adventure. Beauty and possibility. Paths never taken. Each valley has its own rivers, lakes, flora, and fauna. I tend to imagine what each biome must be like.
