I Am Not My Ego

“The ego is a mental construct of who we believe we are based on our past lived experiences. Ego work allows us to become conscious of our deeper emotions, our core beliefs, & allows us not to take the behaviors of others personally.”¹ Ego work is deep healing work. I have created 50 paintings of egos in the form of a fantasy animal to lessen the seriousness of those often hard & cold thoughts our subconscious mind creates & creep up on us, to get curious on our egos stories & not judging ourselves for it, like an animal would do.
