Heart Air Balloons

A whimsical exploration of human emotions. This began as an exercise prompted by my therapist who always encourages me to illustration my feelings. Each one of these paintings captures a different feeling, mood, or state of being. A visualization for the purpose of greater self awareness. I chose hot air balloons because they are whimsical (obviously), but also, because like the wind, our emotions can come and go - and if we let them they can steer and direct our entire course. We often live our lives like hot air balloons, drifting around at the mercy of the changing winds.
