Javier Mariscal Valencian designer, adopted by Barcelona. "In 2050 I’ll be 100 years old". Mariscal ́s life is a love affair with drawing. In 2010 Javier Mariscal created the animated film "Chico & Rita" together with Fernando Trueba. The movie won a Goya Award for the best animated film and the recognition of the European Film Awards. It was also nominated to the Oscars for Best Animated feature. Chico & Rita is a buttery rich animated tale of love, Latin jazz, showbiz, and a tribute to the Hollywood movies of 1940s and early 1950s.
