I studied architecture at Istanbul Technical University. In 2014, I started a photography project on my Instagram account @cimkedi, focusing on lesser-known buildings and side-streets of my adopted city. In recent years, my international following has erupted with major media institutions, such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, CBS News, El Pais Semanal highlighting my work.
