BACKSTAGE takes you behind-the-scenes at Thailand's famous trans cabaret shows. The ongoing project documents the nightly routines & culture of the trans and non-binary performers, and celebrates their beauty & talent. It is also an intimate exploration of identity, sexuality, and transformation, asking of the subjects, the viewer, and the photographer: Who do we see when we look in the mirror? How do we create and become our true selves? The full collection consists of multiple folios, each with ten unique 1/1 images. Collectors receive a limited edition printed fine art book with all images when BACKSTAGE is sold out.
